Ultra EMS provides emergency and non-emergency mobile medical transportation services in Central Ohio. Our clients include general and rehabilitation hospitals, free-standing emergency departments (EDs), and skilled nursing facilities. We can provide services at the Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) levels.
Our Basic Life Support team is staffed with two experienced Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) who are CPR certified. We provide mobile medical transportation services to patients with behavioral emergencies and end-stage renal disease (dialysis), and we can treat and transport patients with oxygen therapy at the BLS level. Our crew also offers transportation for rehabilitation services at skilled nursing facilities, hospital discharges, and medical appointments that meet medical necessities.
Our Advanced Life Support team is staffed with an experienced paramedic and a higher-level EMT. Our paramedics are trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS). We can treat and transport patients with advanced airway management through a portable ventilator, advanced cardiac monitoring, and IV medication administration and management.
Our ambulette division is staffed with dedicated and experienced drivers who provide non-emergency transportation to hospitals for discharges, skilled nursing facilities and private residences for routine roundtrip medical appointments. Our drivers are certified in CPR and first aid and are cross trained as a Medical First Responder (MFR) on a non-emergency transport ambulance.
We offer Standby/Detail services for the following special events.
